FlixBus

Window Seat is a YouTube-first music series by FlixBus, featuring Indian artists performing intimate 7–8 minute live sets on a moving FlixBus.

At every stop, a local musician hops on, performs original tracks shaped by their roots, and then passes the mic to the next artist on the route. Traversing the length and breadth of the country, Window Seat is a genre-agnostic celebration of India’s evolving talent, stories, and sound.

The visual identity for Window Seat blends bold graphic energy with a mixed-media collage aesthetic that captures the sensory overload of travelling across India.

The bus artwork uses dynamic, high-contrast illustrations to create a playful visual “sound burst,” anchoring the brand in rhythm, movement, and youthful expression. The palette draws from neon gradients and fresh greens, balancing the brand’s signature colour with youthful, contemporary tones.

Characters are rendered in simplified silhouettes with soft gradients, allowing them to feel universal while still expressive—representing everyday fans and emerging artists alike.

Title Sequence

The title sequence extends this language into a richer, cinematic collage style: city landmarks, terrains, transit systems, and local environments are cut, layered, and juxtaposed with graphic instruments and FlixBus elements. This hybrid world—part real, part illustrated—mirrors the cultural collisions of a country in motion. It feels handcrafted yet contemporary, echoing India’s grassroots music scenes while staying rooted in the brand’s bright modern palette. This mixed-media approach ties every frame back to the heart of the concept: a genre-agnostic, cross-country celebration where landscapes become stages, commutes become concerts, and every window seat offers a new perspective on the soundtrack of India.
